The voice icon shows up blue and teh little circle appears but I am not able to record. When I click on the voice icon it asks me to upload an mp3 file.

You should click on the voice bubble once, it should then show a connecting animation briefly, and then recording should start. If you click on it while its showing the spinning connection animation, it will ask to upload an mp3 file. If the spinning connection animation persists for more than a few seconds, it means your computer is having trouble accessing Lingt Classroom's audio servers. If you're at school, contact your IT staff and direct them to the last bullet point of the Lingt Classroom requirements at http://lingtlanguage.com/help/#faq1

Hope that helps!

I'm having difficulty with recordings that cross over into other student recordings. I've had several episodes of say, Emily's recording appearing under Ryan, or Ryan's recording appearing somewhere else. When this happens, the host recording appears to have been erased. Has anyone had this happen?

I know I have a microphone since I use Skype, but I cannot get the blurbs to record. I have Realtech HD, and when I try to get the microphone to change, it does not do anything.

Be sure to read the help section on microphones. If its a USB mic, sometimes you need to set it as your computer's default microphone in system settings before Flash will use it correctly. Also try updating flash.

I just got WINDOWS 7, and now when I try to record it says "your mic is muted or not connected". This is NOT true, however, I tested the mic (NOT a USB mic) with the Windows sound recorder and it works fine. How do I get LINGTLANGUAGE to recognize my microphone??

Be sure the microphone is selected in the flash configuration panel. You can see this panel by clicking microphone near the top right of the editor page!
